general conditions

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

  1. This document has been typed in a language that suits both parties and as per their choice.
  2. Given prices does not include machineries or devices or appliances or equipment or spare parts or tubes or ducts or hangings or stands or extensions or any materials or additives of any kind.
  3. DERNOOK HVAC/R is entitled to stop all the work if the customer didn’t provide the financial payments on time. As the customer shall bear any consequences or financial burden this may have on the delay.
  4. Machineries or devices or appliances or equipment or spare parts or tubes or ducts or hangings or stands or extensions or any material or additive of any kind, are non-refundable or replacement, in case of supply or job commission.
  5. DERNOOK HVAC/R does not bear any consequences in the event of unavailability of the quantities or models change with or by the supplier before or during the delivery phase.
  6. All funds paid by the customer are non-refundable in case that DERNOOK HVAC/R has purchased machineries or devices or appliances or equipment or spare parts or tubes or ducts or hangings or stands or extensions or any material or additive of any kind, as DERNOOK HVAC/R must prove it by submitting formal invoices from the suppliers.
  7. In case of funds return or contract termination by the customer, DERNOOK HVAC/R shall be entitled to detect or claim an appropriate amount as of the work that has been accomplished.
  8. The duration of work can be increased on the absence of building readiness for HVAC/R work or if the customer failed to fulfill his financial obligations or in the absence of quantities or models change by the supplier or In the event of disasters or uncontrollable events.
  9. Customer shall pay in advance in case of extra machineries or devices or appliances or equipment or spare parts or tubes or ducts or hangings or stands or extensions or any material or additive in excess of what is stipulated in this document.
  10. Prices contained in this document are limited to Dammam area, as we will calculate additional charges for other locations.
  11. By signing this document, customer hereby agrees for all terms and conditions contained therein.
  12. In the event that the customer didn't commit to the allocated appointment, DERNOOK HVAC/R entitled to cancel or change the dates.
  13. The customer must inform DERNOOK HVAC/R in the event of any defect or malfunction caused by installation or maintenance, within a maximum period of seven days from the installation or maintenance date.
  14. Correspondences related to this document shall be delivered personally with countersignature or sent by registered mail or e-mail. Such correspondences shall be effective if served via the following address: info@dernook.com
  15. All correspondences shall be dated in Gregorian calendar. Respective addresses may change against notice to the other party, with enough time before change effect.
  16. The customer must vacate the work area of all that is precious, as DERNOOK HVAC/R is not responsible for any missing.
  17. Both parties commit themselves to resort to the Sharia courts in Dammam in the event of any dispute.
  18. If this document has not been signed by the customer, it will automatically consider canceled within thirty days from the issuing date.
  19. The customer is committed to pay by the following methods only:
  • Cash payment (Maximum payment for each invoice: three thousands SAR).
  • Money transfers to DERNOOK HVAC/R account (Beneficiary Account).
  • Payment via POS devices (Beneficiary Account).
  • Checks to DERNOOK HVAC/R contain the (Beneficiary Account) details.

EXCLUSIONS:

  1. Exhaust equipment and concrete foundations and steel framing supports and slab openings.
  2. Provision of all electrical conduits and equivalent power cable up to the unit.
  3. All related to BMS, DDC Controls and control panels.
  4. All related to masonry, construction, paint, plaster, tiling, cracking and so forth.
  5. All related to ceiling works, including cutting for air terminal locations and access doors for dampers or air handling units.
  6. Temporary facilities such as electricity, lighting, plumbing, and storeroom.
  7. All related to electromagnetic and telecommunication works.
  8. All related to heavy equipment, conveyors, trucks, cranes and so on.
  9. Ground orientation or making any concrete or iron foundation for the unit.
  10. Remove any obstacles that may face the process of implementation or may hinder the passage of cars.
  11. All civil works, decorative, wooden frames, holes in ceilings and walls, as well as make opens in gypsum ceiling to install the grills.
  12. All masonry openings and frame works for duct penetration thru walls and/or slabs.
  13. Provisions of all 3"Ø PVC Sleeve pipes.
  14. Provisions of all ¾” or 1"Ø PVC condensate drains respectively.
  15. Garbage and refuse disposals.


WARRANTY POLICY:

  • Installation Warranty: For one year from the invoice date (DERNOOK HVAC/R Warranty).
  • Complete Warranty: In accordance to the warranty provided by the supplier (From the supplier invoice date).
  • Compressor Warranty: In accordance to the warranty provided by the supplier (From the supplier invoice date).
  • Spare Part Warranty: In accordance to the warranty provided by the supplier (From the supplier invoice date).
  • Maintenance Warranty: For seven days from the invoice date, excluding spare parts (DERNOOK HVAC/R Warranty).
  • Ductworks Warranty: For two years from the invoice date (DERNOOK HVAC/R Warranty).
  • All warranties will be canceled in case of any tamper on the unit or its contents or additions or extensions or connections by any party rather than DERNOOK HVAC/R or the main supplier.
  • DERNOOK HVAC/R warranty limited to installations & maintenance, where they are not responsible for any manufacturing defect or malfunction related to machineries or devices or appliances or equipment or spare parts of any kind.
  • Please make sure this document has been stamped in order to fulfill with DERNOOK HVAC/R warranty conditions.
